I don't think he was talking about "bots"...... he wants it built into the browser for when you right click an object..;)

I concur with Agent1's assessment.... Lens Flare usually occurs with "multiple lenses" and not with a single lens. (your eye has only one "lens"). Depending on the angle of light entry and the shape of the lens.....it can occur in a single lens....but much less likely to happen.

Of course you don't Mark that's just the way you are...:) If YOU do not like TZ's posts then don't read them. It's real simple. Just quit crying about it in public.
The big point is NOBODY is in charge here....not even you.

Leo :)

ps; I for one happen to like TZ's writing style and his ability to pass along the facts very concisely...... even "old" facts take on a new light...:)

a "home" button for the web window

Dec 17, 2002, 7:51pm
The first day I was in NewAW I asked ENZO and CAL about a home page button... it really needed it there....instead a link to the home page showed up on the web pages....lol
It seems simple enough and it won't even need testing beyond the programmer...:)

hmmm must be a "net thang" cause i have no problems with GRC especially after Steve upgraded his server. Seems very fast and much more responsive....but the AW servers disconnect all the time on me.....could just be the "net route" that my requests are taking...:)

Plug-Ins

Jul 18, 2003, 11:12am
you don't need AWI's permission to do this....just "sub-class" the browser and add anything you want to the AWB menu system.

For instance I can write a VB app that adds "Run Leo's Proggy" to the Help menu of the AW browser and when you select it it would run any app I tell it to....or even make a call to "rundll" :) Just food for thought...:)

John......Do a Google on it search for "sub classing" & " VB"
Lots of info there to get you started.... Actually Dan Appleman has some great routines you can buy to jump start you on this also...:)

not with the SDK, but with "subclassing" you can watch the Browser and see when the shift is pressed...:)

of course a prerequisite of newsgroup reading is the ability to read minds...:) " I meant"

LOL ya know I did notice that, and was gonna suggest you're in the wrong NG for this question.
You should have asked for that feature to be included in the "wishlist" and not asked if it was possible for the SDK to do this...:)
It's "possible" for the SDK to do ANYTHING you'd like....just not probable, nor practical..

GIF does not suck, only your OPINION does Bowen....:) do your home work.

Because its more compatable and it does what you need to do. GIF is far from "outdated".
Not to mention much easier to use when writing code to support it.

Not if your(as a developer) forced to "pre-register" your plug-in with AWI, before it will run with the browser.
It could be done securely....no problem.
