One wonders why in the hell the beta newsgroup needs to be hidden now.
I really don't care if I'm not in beta, but, I really would like to read about it considering the usualy wait time for the next versions. I don't think the beta newsgroup was ever "locked", why should it be now? -- --Bowen-- No of SETI units returned: 55 Processing time: 47 days, 9 hours. That's not a good business practice either. You generally want to keep
your client base informed on what's coming next (so they can express to you their feelings... so you don't give them something they don't care about and do give them things they do). Why, may I ask, is Bill grumpy about all things Beta? "NO! You can't see what we're doing or I'll have to gnaw your face off!" It was like this last time when Rick put people on beta constantly and Bill would take them off. -- --Bowen-- No of SETI units returned: 55 Processing time: 47 days, 9 hours. Hence why I'm not renewing my citizenship. AWI's just being stupid
nowadays and I'm sick of really... just dealing with it. Shoddy employees who get pissy when you asked them where the current beta server installation file was, locking out the beta group simply because you don't want customers to see what you're planning, freaking up the rest of the newsgroups because of said lock. Creating a new uniserver just so you can keep track of who's been put on the beta (because Bill is a narcsistc about everything beta - it's my beleif he feels it as an extension of himself), et al. -- --Bowen-- No of SETI units returned: 55 Processing time: 47 days, 9 hours. Am I still your friend? :P I hate my government's decisions... but
there has to be reaction to attacks even if it is shooting blindly. If we don't have a clue which devision did it... attack places that harbor people _like_ those who did it (probability dictates you'll get it sooner or later). But let's not get into _that_ discussion again, honestly. > dont know how to act your age towards bowen? not surprised... > act like a 50 or 60, or however old you are, should act! with maturity, and > proper arguments, not: "Well, i was wearing underwear, before you were in > nappies, and so breifs are obviously more comfortable, because i have mroe > expierience in wearing underwear". LoL that was a good one. > respect to others? i have barely disrespected anyone in ages, so stop with > your bullshit. hell, i dont even bother answering you most the time since i > know where it will lead to and honestly, your not worth it anymore, seems > i've matured before you sadly. I agree that you do seem more mature than him sometimes. Sometimes more than me, but that sometimes is a lot 'cause... Bowen doesn't care. Why do I need to prove my maturity? Really? Is there some sort of scale I should be following? My morals are different, thus, my maturity will seem different than BB's and his maturity will be different from say... oh a Devout Catholic. You can't "act your age" unless you're defining a primer. I may be American, but my morals are different than BB. As it seems he was taught to obey all commands given to him at all costs and measures. IE, not to ask questions or have opinions unless it is to oppose those that oppose the norm. > thing is, i have never blocked anyone before, not in AW, newsgroups, > e-mails, nothing. but you are tempting... Worldserver bandwidth and memory load is very neglicable with a server.
It's like training to run the marathon and then only having to run an foot. As for object paths, that's a whole other story.
