Good job Mav, you beat the eeptrollthingie. I congratulate you on that. There's

Thought you were Mav in a past cit? :P

And yes, everything you say about him is true.

Hmm, hackers are people knowledgeful of computers and systems. The "hackers" you're
referring to are most likely script kiddies (using other peoples programs). Sleepy E
is the best thing AW could have right now, in addition with the beta team. Sleepy E
isn't just a hacker, but an experienced cracker. There's a few distinct differences
and his knowledge as a hacker definately helps him with his cracking abilities. I'd
say the only bad type of "cracker" is a script kiddie. The others aren't out to
cause harm in most cases.

A true definition of hacker means someone who is expert at some thing. So yes, a
programmer is a hacker. But it's not just limited to programmers, as Sys ops, web
designers and graphic artists(these two not so much), could all be considered hackers
to some extent.

[View Quote] In my opinion it is very ok. He is helping to expose possible threats to security
(mainly of your system) to unwanted attacks. You may not like his methods, but
that's not the point, he's helping and that's all that really should matter as long
as he's not trying to go through the system to take what he can first.

Unless you're completely daft about anything besides European culture you'd realize
that he was inferring about Apollo 13. NOT about the European launch sites,
therefore Houston would be the correct "center" to refer too.

Too bad X-Box can't draw as many polygons as the other two can.

It's more like this according to the manufacturers: GC, PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast, PS1,
N64, SuperNintendo, SegaGenisis, NES, then all the ones predating this that weren't
really "consoles."

console survey

Sep 18, 2002, 9:17pm
Mm, the actual people who built the things. Not the companies behind it. The reason
you see those differences isn't really with the rendering engine, it's because of the
way the programmers implement them. If we're talking about games that are on both of
the systems, they usually write it for the xbox first (very easy because it uses the
same stuff as windows with DX). Then they take that information, make a convertor,
and change it to the PS2. This usually ends up being really really crappy, but it
works and they still get money. Hell, I wouldn't put it past me if Microsoft is
paying people to make crappier versions for other systems.

Ever notice how games that aren't multiplatform tend to look 100x's better?

[View Quote] Wrong again, Microsoft makes you pay, the other two do not. Nintendo has never
charged royalties. They only did if they had to lease you the equipment to make the
things.

> No. The rotation happens on the browser end each time you visit the area. If the
exploit is fixed, using a bunch of periods won't let you use the commands unless you
have the rights needed to.

Forgot I blocked you. Actually the checking to see if you have the rights is on the
server side isn't it? Supposedly putting all those ....,,,,,; stuff confused the
server to not check the following commands after it I'm guessing.

All of the objects I used with the old exploits still rotate...

Yeah, or just turn special commands on and no one will even bother to look for them.
It's not like there's going to be an uproar in vandelism because special commands are
on.
