My 1st time in AW was when I was a tourist of course, lol At the time I was
a member of a free 3D site called Cybertown and a friend of mine had a
Citizenship in AW and she said you got to see my house in AW, I said, ok
sure. She gave me the cords. and I d/led the browser and had to use ICQ to
finally figure out how the heck to get there and talked to her that way til
I was able to teleport there, lol This was on Alpha World and I saw her
house then saw the entire town a friend of hers made and then after that I
went exploring on my own and found a place that looked like area 51, lol I
found an open 2 story complex and there was a guy there and a webcam picture
going on the wall. I asked him who he was and he said something like. That's
me at the AW computer that runs all this and the worlds. I was like, oh wow
that's kool, lol I watched that for a few minutes then flew around and asked
him why there were gates around everything, I said, what do you need gates
for I can fly right over them, LOL I flew around some more and found a bunch
of road pieces laying around and hill pieces and other objects just laying
around. I said to myself wow this guy has some neat objects, lol I didn't
know at the time everyone had access to all the objects they wanted, so I
thought this guy was great cause he had objects I bet everyone would want,
LOL After that I left and have been coming back ever since :)

Wow, can't believe I was nominated 3 times, what an honor to be recognized
by 2 other citizens as doing something worthy of a Cy award, I of course
nominated PeteHetherington and I for our work and development on the
Kaleidoscopes and have taught many people now how to make for themselves. I
couldn't be happier that I had a chance to share an opportunity that I felt
was worthy of possibly receiving a Cy award for its innovation and art with
AW objects and 3.1 commands that was an accomplishment to make something
many people that have visited Elysium now have come to enjoy :)

Just broadening the visibility of the ad, hehehe I did not realize it was

Mike that's a really good logo, no one is going to make you a logo that
looks like those 2 logos you grabbed off their website because that would be
copyright infringement, it's a very good picture for what you want to use it
for and would make a good logo. Next time send this to the group, it came in

Yeah it's a noticeable problem, sometimes I will go from world to world and
no problem. Then all of a sudden I pop into another world and I get the
AW.exe error I hit ok and bye bye browser, lol Happens more often than other
times and does not seem to have anything to do with what you did or didn't
do. I just try to dump my cache or reboot thinking there might be too much
in my cache or I'm running low on resources. Then it won't happen again for
quite a while but there seems to really be no rhyme or reason to it. Just
that darn AW.exe thing crashing again, lol

No, you are absolutely right then, it's an AW.com thing cause it happened
not only to me but to a friend of mine that has DSL and just the other night
the same night it happened to you. We were both building on Elysium and both
expierienced the same problem at the same exact time. I use a 56k modem. So
I am more inclined to go with Facter's premise that AW screwed up about the
same time and it had nothing to do with any of our connections tho as I have
just pointed out. More than just a coincidence don't you think?

Glad I stuck with 98 and waited to hear all the complaints 1st, I usually

Yes please mention SAW. I created SAW for the exact reasons I mentioned in
my post. AW protects some people for no apparent reason and acts on
frivelous things the same. They have proven themselves untrustworthy in
making appropriate decisions concerning people that harass other people and
claim to not get involved, unless it suits them. Playing favoritism is not
the way to deal with any Citizen if they have clearly done something against
the rules in AW. But that wasn't the case now was it, they even bent the
rules and allowed him to enter a totally bot copied world that was not built
in his name in the Cy Awards nominations. I really don't understand it and
it digusts me to no end. I realize I cannot change people but I am also
learning that there are people with power in AW that enjoy abuseing it. So
the only thing I am guilty of is standing up and saying these people are
allowed to pull their crap on people and get away with it while AW.com does
nothing about it, that is what the SAW website is for, people AW.com for one
reason or another refuses to do anything about even after they have been
reported on numerous occassions. I resent being mistreated by AW.com and as
long as I am here I will be the perfect example of someone mistreated by
them in every decision they've made concerning people that were legitimately
harassing me as they stood by and did nothing and when I tried to fight back
they banned me for 9 days, that's the abuse of power I am talking about and
if you don't get it and can't see that well I am sorry but I sincerely hope
it never happens to you.

Yes he always takes it upon himself to dictate to everyone else what they
should or should not do, that's the only annoyance I can see here. People
have a right to post in html, if they can't read html posts oh well the rest
that do will. We have already been thru this discussion in past posts. The
only thing apparently wrong with it is that some people won't d/l html if
you want to use it, that's all. There is nothing or no reason not to post in
html otherwise if that's what someone wants to do. He is not the dictator of
the NGs and has no right to tell anyone how they want to post here.

found out that the account outside of Inactiveworlds holding the porn was
completely closed. Inactiveworlds did nothing to contribute to the cleaning
of porn, but the people who did report it to the service provider were able
to influence them enough to take a look at the files referenced and not only
did they remove it but I repeat their account was closed.

This was not done by AW.com, it was done by some outside company, they took
action after reviewing the files, not AW.com. So quick to defend AW.com you
didn't even read the post correctly, I think everyone in here is brainwashed
or something to believe AW is looking out for your best intrests cause their
not.
