And how exactly do you get a substantial amount of people of whom you have
no contact with to do that? This has been done before and failed.
Personally I think any reason to attempt to do this is stupid. You would be
shooting yourself in the foot. There are much better ways to get a business
to accommodate a customer. I.e. Better Business Bureau.

Flagg, as a personal message to you and a public message to the weener
brigade triumvirate over there (one of which you banned), I'm going to point
out that most of us who read these newsgroups don't subscribe to these
"conspiracy theories", mainly because there is no reason for you to have a
conspiracy. :) I've found that those who make the most noise about an issue
are usually in the very vocal minority.

Do keep up your posting here and the moderating. You are doing a good job!

People needed to tear something apart

Figure out what the conflict is. :) Does it use javascript in any way?
Sometimes netscape does not support certain java commands, and it most
certainly doesn't support DHTML very well.

On the other hand, AW's browser is an imbedded IE window pretty much, and it
makes sense that most people are going to view the website through Active
Worlds instead of IE or Netscape.

I happen to like that IE feature/bug. :) Netscape should implement it in
6.2.

I have a bug to report(maybe)

Oct 13, 2001, 3:00am
Yes. sort of. I built an elevator in Nutopia just for the heck of it.
once it started down though and i "bumped" into the floor, I would stay at
the altitude I bumped into the floor at until I looked around or until I
moved. The floor would continue moving downward.

First of all, this isn't the United States.

Second of all, the 1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights promised intellectual
freedom of speech. That means if you say something you'd better back it up,
and it had better sound smart, not some sock identity of yours crapping on
another person.
There are laws in America about libel and slander, which in effect does
limit true freedom of speech. However those laws are there for the public
good, i.e. so we, the public, don't have to put up with it, and also i.e. so
people's reputations don't go down the drain because someone said something
that others may happen to believe.

That's how the terrain lays, so crash and burn or fly a straight and steady
course.

I have a Voodoo 3 3000. Let's just say that in OpenGL mode my graphics are
fuzzy. But in Direct3D mode they are fine. This in in aw3.2 mind you. I
haven't tested your program. :)

Well the Voodoo series wasn't built with OpenGL in mind, mind you. It was
built to take advantage of Direct3D.

I believe that is one of the reasons why they removed the download from
their web page. So people wouldn't go and cry foul like they do with every
