Doing a task like that doesn't seem impossible to me, I bet there is a
way to do something like that...

You could probably just tag the lights, to save cell space and just use
remote objects to turn the lights on and off. Changing 1 object in the
center of a couple of the lights is easier than changing 4-8 light
objects individually. Reduces the workload a lot that way...

Wow, from the screenshot, the objects look amazing. Can't wait to
actually get in the world and see them first hand :) Keep up the good
work!

What is the point of charging anymore, when there so many people out
there now that will do it for free? lol but I guess it doesn't hurt
to try anyways...

Google ads are good and all, except when they start advertising for
competitors haha if you notice the very top ad is for Second Life :-P

I didn't say that you did... I was just pointing out the fact that they
are advertising for Second Life on an Active Worlds thing. It's just
funny how those things work out sometimes :-P

It is pretty much common sense. If an email is asking for confirdential
information, it is 99.99% a spoof trying to steal your personal
information. If a company wants you to update your personal
information/payment information, they will ALWAYS display a screen AFTER
you log in through their website. So if you follow simple logic, then
you can avoid doing anything bad that will allow the people out there to
take advantage of your account(s). And like others have said, type the
urls out and don't click the links in the emails. If you didn't expect
the email to come, then it probably was not suppose to come.

The reason for the drop in users is NOT because of lack of linux
support. Not sure where you are getting this from... it is because of
the price hike that happened a while back and people not wanting to
renew. Windows is not the only platform, but it is sure the majority...
a large majority in fact and where the main stream of money is coming
from for them. And from what keeps happening to the staff/programmers at
AWI, doesnt seem like they have much manpower to work with to take on
such a task of redo the browser to have linux support. Would take a long
long time, probably several years to recode the browser. So don't expect
anything anytime soon.

I was looking through your bot requirements and I came across something
very strange.
http://img171.echo.cx/img171/2386/eclipseramwtf8pn.jpg
It shows RAM: 256 MB (386 MB recommended)
Here's a question for you Strike... what is 256 + 128? lol it surely
isn't 386. 386mb - 256mb = 130mb of ram difference. How does one get
130mb of ram? Your recommendations are a bit flawed there. :-P

Yep, and what about back in the days when tourist build was always on?
There wasn't that much of a problem back then... so why would there be
one now? And like Matt888 said, there is lots of space, so there really
is no big deal to having it on for a day or so. I think it would make
things better rather than worse.

There can be tabs across the top of the chat window to switch between
the various channels and set some as default for new installations. Also
make it so that people can view a list of all channels available and be
able to add/remove and even rename channels when they want. Would be a
very good I think and would not be _that_ hard to implement.

Yep, have had this happen to me a couple times before. You cannot select
that many objects and try to move them. Have to do smaller sections that
you know will be safe for the browser to handle.

I bought some avatars from Pyro and have never had any problems with her
sending the files over quickly after payment.

Objects are a bit harder to work with as non-free ones usually are
associated with licensing agreements, making it so the object can only
be used in that world and not traded around to others. If a world owner
has purchased an object that they do not want anymore, they are kinda
out of luck on that one.

wow, even those prices are high for what you get You can pay only
$9.95 a month and get 1 gig of space and 40gb of bandwidth at the web
host that I use. And I am hosting my object path through them without
any problems or slowness. You can view the various packages here:
www.vectracon.com/hosting
The MG-Super package is the one I am referring to in this post.
