They were originally made for the Capture The Flag world Lugia until Robbie
quit only to come back and sell them instead of finishing what he had
started. *sigh* oh well

Yeah, I saw this story or a similar story where an employee killed 7
accountants in his building because the IRS was going to garnage his wages.
They are right, this is very distressing. :(

Yes, I have built a lot in USWF_PBL. I spent almost a whole day building
landscape there for the New Years Party. I know Tomba and Xplicit Contint
have built a lot in the world and I think they did a wonderful job. If
someone were to come and ask me who built the world. I would name those 2
people instead of myself. Why don't you learn the facts before accusing me

The U.S.W.F. (United States World Federation) is looking for help from the
community.
The U.S.W.F. is an organization that was formed to provide free services to
the community of Active Worlds and also provide services to its members. Our
staff includes artists, builders, event and advertising committee,
journalists, programmers, and security. Each department is lead by a council
member, with staff under them. In addition to our staff and helping the
community, we also work with a bank bot network. The bank bot client allows
people to buy and sell items. We also have lots to sell and a bot that can
be used to uncover them and subtract money from that person's account. We
have been around for a while and aren't new. We are looking into being
sponsored by AWCom. We are in the staging process for that. During the past
few weeks, a few people have stepped down as head of their department and we
are looking for people who would be willing to help us out to replace them.
The current positions that need to be filled are:
1) Community Contact / Support (Someone to help answer questions that people
may have and to assist them in anyway(s) needed.)
2) Head Artist (Someone who is talented in object making, texture, and
graphic making.)
3) Head Builder (Someone who is a creative builder and can work well with
others.)
If you would like to find out more information about our job positions,
please visit our website at: http://www.uswf.net and click on the jobs
section.
If you would like to help us out, then please contact me at:
lord_fett at uswf.net
Thanks,
Lord Fett

Paintball & Capture The Flag is now being run 24/7 in the world Lugia. We
have redesigned the playing field and lowered the terrain so that players
can travel across it easier. We have new base designs as well as new
obstacles in the field. Come take a look and have some fun :) The world
also features a Tip Bot that will give you help as you play the game. If you
would like to find out more information about the bot being used, please

It is Capture The Flag with paintball not the other way around. Also the bot
was programmed in C++, not Visual Basic. There are only about 2 CTF worlds
in Active Worlds. AWCTF (which is never used anymore) and Lugia. There may
be more, but I don't know of any others that are good. I don't see why you
have to have a big fit over it. If you don't like it, then oh well. There
are many more people who will find the world and bot very cool and will have
a fun time. Stop trying to ruin it for everyone else.

On the AW Newsletter, it no longer says "Flagg's Worlds to Watch," it just
says "Worlds to Watch." However, in AWGate, the Flagg's Worlds to Watch area
is still there and the world teleports haven't been updated for a while now.
Anyone have an idea of why this is still like this? heh It's not a big
deal, just curious to see if the Worlds to Watch area in AWGate is going to
updated anymore with the new newsletters.

Well it can be made into an option. Maybe it could even be in a menu
somewhere so that you can click it and it will run an updater program.
Otherwise, it would just do the normal stuff it does when started.

Don't you just love it when someone makes a post with useful information
that can benefit the community and people can't find nothing better to do
than to go way off topic to discuss the flaws in their posting abilities? I
think that is kinda stupid. Just drop it and stick to the topic at hand. You
waste just as much bandwidth, if not more, arguing about it than the person
who posted the original message did.

well you could just do song1.mid song2.mid or midi1.mid midi2.mid that
way people don't know what the midi is just by downloading it.

have the
no object clicking) with all of the midi's you're going to be using. On top
of all these sounds, have a null sound so that the midi's are not actually
heard. This way, all music is pre-downloaded before you start playing. Oh,
and you'd want your object path hidden using a php script of some sort.

You may have heard of and/or even played Capture The Flag in Lugia. Well, we
are at it again to bring everyone even more fun while playing the game. We
are in the process of redoing the entire world theme and field design and we
need your help. We have a lot of new ideas for both the bot and the world to
make it an exciting place to visit and have fun in. With these new additions
that are planned, we cannot accomplish them all ourselves. To help us create
this new world, we need skilled builders, modelers, texture artists, and
avatar makers. If you are any of these and would like to help out on an
exciting project that has a ton of potential to be something grand, then
telegram Lord Fett on AW. We can plan a time to get together and I'll share
with you all the ideas so that you can best work with us to accomplish our
goals. Thanks :)
