Hmm... I don't do a lot of world exploring, but try making sure your video
card's drivers are up to date and try gettin DirectX 8.

What is it with you and roland? first you compare AW to 3d games probably
from companies with 10 million dollar budgets that have hordes of
programmers working normal hours to make it right, to a small business with
probably 10 programmers and a budget of less than $500,000, and now this.
Since you despise AW so much why don't you just leave?

Know how the stock markets are all falling and they're all sorda blaming
the tech companies? I have AWLD on my little stock list in netscape and
they actually were the only one that went up (by 6 cents, they must be
happy). Could they be doing something right? Who knows?

Yeah I'm on netscape 6 (nothing supports it, I better re-download MSIE
but still use netscape) and I've noticed that the active parts of the
navigation bar are offset and the text gets all screwed in the top and
bottom with the horizontal bar at the bottom of the page.

Yeah I agree with tony on the tourists...the reason they are so limited is
because thats how AW grows (until they drop world prices). E-mails nice too.

LMAO! The GET? They barely do their job, they think that half-completed
floating houses with "under construction" signs and no roofs are completed
builds. That and they don't know when 3.0 came out so the "No robobuilders"
rule is useless. We had this huge field doing nothing...with no trees or
anything...that hasn't been touched for like a year, so we contacted the GET
and they came and REJECTED our request, so then we actually showed them the
place and after about 2 months they deleted it. If they were to go to work
in beta they'd probably just stand in GZ and delete whatever objects they
saw in a 5 minute period then go off and reject someone vandalizing with
signs in AW full of profanities and racist slurs. Of course...they have been
getting better...but still I'm mad...

Oops, my mistake. I thought I heard about some virus called HaRe or
something way back ago...it was on the news or something...I read back...now
its some "crappy" speed-enhancement program. if you want to speed up your
comp just buy a better heatsink/fan and some arctic silver (probably about
$20 total) and overclock the heck out of your chip :P Of course, if you're
not a computer nerd like me then you've got no clue of what or how to
overclock so you don't know what I'm talking about. Don't ask :P

Well, to build offline when you're logging into AW (and theres the splash
screen) click the Skip button while its visible (for some reason when you're
just about to finish logging in it dissappears, so you should be quick) and
you will load up AW using the property stored on your machine. You can
vandalize and build all you want but it doesn't get sent to the server while
you're online and if something you edit/build/delete goes out of view it
reverts/deletes to whatever was in your cache.
