You're the dope! I was explaining why KAH's way wouldn't work.

<snip from KAH's post>

easy way of doing it on login : sdk.AwMyX = txtMyX.Text & "000" and so on
:-))

<end snip>

I was restating what KAH said, and then tellin u why it wouldn't work.

Exactly what I said.

| -- m a k a v e l i wrote (correctly) ---------------
| > ?????? To make it look good:

| > sdk.AwMyX = txtMyX & 1000
| > <end code>

I restated what KAH said so I didn't confuse people when I stated while it
wouldn't work.

| Now .... see any difference?? Its not difficult! Either this is a terrible
| quote which looks nothing like the original (so its a typo) OR you typoed
| with a "&" instead of a "*" OR your offering is incorrect (as described in
| my previous post). Now go back and read the posts from 15th onwards.

Must be a terrible quote I quess, maybe I should have said "<KAH's code>"
instead?

True that.

Ok Grimble, I guess it was a typo, although I seriously thought I was
restating KAH's post.

Buy Jave, Delphi, C, C++, or VB. Then learn it, THEN and only then,
download the sdk and program them.

You just lost me, you stated false info., which is something I don't like.
C++ is a program, and so is Java. You CAN and most of the time HAVE to buy
C/C++.

Ok, so you are saying Microsoft VC++ is not a program? Just because it is
visual doesn't make it not C++.

Folders

Mar 28, 2001, 10:28pm
I was thinking about maybe having folders in the contact list, because I
have some people who are from my town that change their names a lot and I
want to keep track of them, so I thought I would post it.

Yes, that should be all that it needs there is no need for a rewrite, simple
is what it is.

This somewhat goes along with this. May have been stated also but I haven't
seen it. Instead of showing only the Citizen name and the stuff like that,
they should add another seperator and add "copy", "paste", and "select all"
that way it can be copied without using keys.

That was not what I meant. I mean in the chat, there should be a way to
copy text instead of using keys.

Is this place full of people like him? I may be new but I know how to work
my computer. You use 3.0 or 3.1? obviously not, because your making
yourself look like a imbecile because if you right click the text it brings
up the following options:

1) Citizen Name
2) - - - - - - -
3) Mute
4) Whisper
5) Add To Contacts

Your "mummy" must be proud..

Selecting text and right clicking does absolutely nothing, I just tried. I
am a mouse person and I like to do as much as I can with the mouse not the
keyboard.

Font.

Apr 30, 2001, 2:14am
I have been looking over this Newsgroup for a while, and noticed Font
mentioned a lot, but in the time I searched I saw nothing about the sign's
fonts. The text font would be nice to change too, but changing a sign's
font by "font=TimesNewRoman" or "font=Arial" something along that line. :-)

Customisable Ejection Message

May 17, 2001, 12:12am
Why only be able to use that feature with a bot? In the ejection field of
the Ejection popup box, there should be a text box that allows users to add
an ejection message to it, if it is left blank, use the default.

You are a complete idiot. There is NO folders NOR subjects in the AW
browser. E-mail is nothing like this idea. Also, it is not popularely
(popularly if you want to be a good speller) called e-mail, it is just
called e-mail.
