I noticed an odd thing in a world I build in (and have CT to edit
terrain) -- there were two spikes that looked exactly the same beyond the building limit. This wasn't a browser-only error, because the owner & I both saw the exact same thing. Using Xelagot's maximum altitude, we reuploaded the terrain & they all flattened out to an altitude of 100m. We then searched for these spikes in the elevdump, found them, & reuploaded them. The spikes were gone. (and still are). It seems the worldserver is accepting terrain data beyond the building limit-- either this is a bug, or in 3.4 we'll be able to edit beyond the building limit. i believe this is being added to 3.4, is it not?

Citing the techtalk from june 7th, this is true:
"Young Shamus: the last feature in the first stage of 3.4 is the world option to always show names, and to block all regular chat - this is so that a bot could handle and process the chat." Not all C/C++ programmers have a nice drop-a-component-here-and-make-a-gui-in-5-seconds-flat IDE like Delphi and VB..

If you have a dark skybox, activating a black fog helps to hide the holes that could be seen far away.

Strike, you really need to test these things before you run around screaming. I don't even see my .exe in the cache, nor does AW really download it.

Then it's your own fault for running an .exe you don't know about..

Um, from what Alphabit posted, the CYs just received new management. Nothing has died. Perhaps you should work on your reading comprehension...
