Dont you think with AWC now recording out computer hardware they know enough
about us already? The whole sub-point of the internet is you can be discressional and not have a fixed identity... granted the gor worlds (and anything rated R / X + etc) should be shilded as set by the worlds list. Just untill we can find something better, maybe if there is a limitation on it that works with the things like child protection software it would also be usefull, then then again, anyone can change the INI anyway.... How about a PW to allow users to change the rating some parents can set? Granted it wont be suitable for people like myself to need to acess worlds with whatever rating depentant on what im doing. But it would help :) - Mark My wish..May 18, 2002, 4:29am
Now if that is the same in all worlds (no doubt it is) u get urself a
network of bots and whalla, you can track a individual computer anywhere. [View Quote] Re: 3.3 Feature listMay 10, 2002, 3:51pm

Wait and see, im still developing it.. but once its done.. in short..
everything... things im planning for it are... - Individual Settings for each right w/ citnum and ppw support - High Security Mode such as avatar Secure, Citnum, PPW Protection, Set Area Protection. Anti Vandalism and such... - Site to Site Land build (5 x 5) - Thanks to KAH for helping me learn how to do that via the examples - Will have specialist features such as Citnum / Name Sweep (for creating citname/num lists). - Keeps track of all data it finds in differnt files so you can call functions such as "what is the homepage of <World>" to have the bot scan though the world data it has and find the last recorded webpage it has. - MultiCommunications - Similar to the telephone bot but might be able to do some lesser functions of the main bot - Console mode for running scripts - AW Word Processor ('<!Begin Dictate!>' / '<!End Dictate!>' etc saved to file using the bot. - Popup messages - Audable and visible alerts on the desktop when an event happens (like in MSN messenger) - God knows what else, im only just starting it.. getting frames and such set up (VB6 BTW for those who are interested, thanks to Mr Grimm for the OCX wrapper ^_^) but as any PK Core member who just happens to be the person who helps me with my programming will say... there is allong way to go. lol. Who knows what might turn up.. I have a few suprizes in store (including media player ^_^) - Mark Idiot ReportMay 23, 2002, 3:39pm
Calm down Kah! Slaughter Tyrell later at an aranged time (so we can all come
and watch) ^_^. Do something else to vent your fustraitions (like make a bot that will hunt Tyrell down and talk HTML all day :D) - Mark PS: Nice use of the word moron. Idiot ReportMay 27, 2002, 8:14pm
hmm, then how come if i make a lil program to show me the code for rich text
it comes up as something compeltly differnt to HTML with about 30 brackets per line? Idiot ReportMay 28, 2002, 7:28pm
Eck, i tried that, forgot the news subdomain and got a nasty warning off AWC
heh, they probably have something like the uniserver citizen data file on the telnet :P Idiot ReportMay 28, 2002, 7:33pm

Erm, actualy the program works perfectly.. it was to show the formatting
usined in RTF from just what i copied and pasted into a box Enable Uni FeaturesMay 28, 2002, 8:18pm
Although I know that some people already have done it using a Resource
Editor. I would personally like to see the citizens feature enabled so that you can do citnums and citnames without a requirement for a bot. Although Roland or someone would have to fix the bug where if you select your own user it dosent show ur PW and PPW in actual plain text etc, and if u search another use ur pw and ppw still remains on it. Just a quick fix, but something that would help :) - Mark Enable Uni FeaturesMay 28, 2002, 8:54pm
Yes, but only your own :)
Everyone elses just comes up as blank boxes, so does their bot limit, e-mail etc, the only complete 1 is ur own user that ur logged onto. Whois FeatureMay 29, 2002, 3:24pm
U already can, using a bot or a lil Browser crack (although im not sure
enabling the uni feature works anymore) Whois FeatureMay 29, 2002, 4:53pm
I think he meant just be able to find out who is world CT if u need to
contact them.. lol Whois FeatureMay 29, 2002, 6:13pm
Most people dont know what it means anyway, its a simple duplication of a
resource string.. and actually it was to say that the world lookup is already enabled :P Whois FeatureMay 30, 2002, 3:33pm
Bot cant do more than it, oh, and 1 of ur friends told me how to do the hack
in the first place, lol. btw, what is ubahh4xX0r in a language i can understand? (English if u can) -Cit lookup works with all features you can get - World lookup dont work at all Whois FeatureMay 30, 2002, 3:46pm
Anyway, that was way back in 3.1, lets hope it can be put in for 3.3
Whois FeatureMay 30, 2002, 6:39pm
Actaully it was Citnum, Citname and webpage, but thats all we would need, it
would save having to log a bot in, thats all, but considering its there why not let us use it? Whois FeatureMay 30, 2002, 6:40pm
nooo, what I mean is that its possable, with a simple modification, but if
it is possable why dont they let us have it? All the cracking talk, its just because at the moment, youd have to edit the browser to do something that should (and could) be there already. I need to turn! :PJun 1, 2002, 7:40am
I dont know if any of you active people (specificly people who like to do
active games such as paintball and build etc in Active Worlds), that we can now only turn slowly... kinda like a downgrade... could we have this back? What do you guys think about it? SOS - Save Our SanityJun 2, 2002, 8:42am
With increased features comes increased fustraition. As most builders know
by now if you have a object selected, if you click on it to exit building mode as in earlier versions, there is a high probability that you will completly ruin your object alignment due to a little feature where you can rotate the object. Now as nice as this mode is it is absolute HELL when your trying to work quickly with objects and need to unlock from a object and exit building mode. Hence I think it may be benefitial if you had to hold some key (like Alt) when you want to free rotate a object, instead of it happening automatically. That way we wont be pulling out hair out when weve just spent 2 hours on a build only for 1 pixel of mouse movement when were trying to unlock from build mode, resulting in the entire building out of alignment. -Mark SOS - Save Our SanityJun 3, 2002, 8:19pm
Unless ur in the middle of a sphere6.rwx cause then ur seriously in a bad
position unless you know the lil trick :P SOS - Save Our SanityJun 5, 2002, 6:10pm
Actually you have to duplicate the object and delete it, or click the lil x,
