Looking for testers for shared teleport listFeb 4, 2006, 11:25pm
Hi,
Do you have a lot of teleports to your builds that you would like to share, do you run a world or city area? If you do then you may be exactly the kind of person id like to test the shared teleport list: www.temporal-solutions.co.uk/stl.php The STL allows you to share and categorise your teleports for all the universe to use. If you are interested, please telegram me or respond to this post and I will register you a citizen projects region, or if you wish to have a dedicated area for your world I will create one of those also. For example, here is Vegers: http://www.temporal-solutions.co.uk/stl.php?page=region_mgr®ion=52 - Mark Randall Looking for testers for shared teleport listFeb 5, 2006, 2:41pm
You can register now (please use your citname) and a directory will now be
created under Root > Citizen Projects > your name; with suitable rights to allow you to create sub regions and add your own locations. - MR [View Quote] Looking for testers for shared teleport listFeb 6, 2006, 12:41am

Of course they can, just like they could telegram everyone those coordinates
or put them on their own website. That said, if there is any major problem with any of the entires let me know, but im not planning on running about erasing someones ub3r sekrit builds. If you build in a public world you should expect that your build may be located. - MR Looking for testers for shared teleport listFeb 6, 2006, 4:49pm
Check out our new front page:
www.temporal-solutions.co.uk/stl.php?page=main Also added are several major object directories for Alphaworld and AWTeen by searching for 'object yard' http://www.temporal-solutions.co.uk/stl.php?page=search&query=object+yard I highly encourage all world owners and builders to make use of this service! - Mark Randall [View Quote] Strange email from LinnFeb 9, 2006, 3:25pm

Uh.... You really have no idea. Things like AW take *hundreds of thousands*
or even *millions* of LOC to write. At last count Evo was 35,000 and if you include the heavy heavy use of multiline macros that pushes it up to about 40,000. When you have 7 or 8 thousand hours of coding experience behind you. Then you can challenge me. Infact what the hell. I challenge you, produce your own version, C++, everything, Dynamic rights system, multimode attributes editing, 100+ commands, god knows how many reports, the back end database interface, the XML communication standards, the profile management system, the advanced logging capabilities, the context sensing menus, the graphical display interfaces, the compressable GUI. Oh, and more than 2 { or } on a line does not count. See you in 10 years and 80,000 - 10,000 lines of code because I can guarentee you cannot code as pure as I can. - MR [View Quote] Browser problem d/l stuff...Feb 18, 2006, 9:09pm

Hear Ye, Hear Ye
Initial testing on the Shared Teleport List has now been completed and tested with over 100 teleports and 30 users and all looks good with hundreds of views a day. Now is your opportunity to register if you havent already done so to register add your own personal buildings to the shared teleport list. To register, please goto www.temporal-solutions.co.uk/stl.php and click on 'Register' from either the main screen or the top left login box. Adding your teleports is simple; once you have registered you will be given a section under 'Citizen Projects' by your own name. Simply log in if you have not already done so automatically after registering and go to your name in citizen projects (Citizen Projects: www.temporal-solutions.co.uk/stl.php?page=region_mgr®ion=41). Don't forget to save it in your favourites! Simply click on 'add new location' and enter the teleports information then click submit. You can add as many teleports as you want, 1 or 1000 every teleport contributes. Please add only those locations which you have built, or helped build, this gives other builders the opportunity to add their own builds and information themself. However, if you own a world or run a city / town you may wish to have a managed top level region for it where you can include teleports from many builders who build in it. To get a top level region please register and then telegram me with the name of your world or town / city. It couldent be easier to share your teleports in an easy and quick to search way, adding your builds to the shared teleport list can increase the visitors to your builds and worlds. There are no restrictions on which worlds the teleports are in, although if the world is R or X rated please indicate it at the start of the description - the site will very soon show automatically the rating of the world which a teleport is inside. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask me. - Mark Randall www.temporal-solutions.co.uk |
