Hello all :)
I was just playing with a few functions and came across the object query which I know between 0 and 0.0001% about.. Could anyone help me solve this by giving me a quick explenation on how to set it all up? If any of you would it would be a great help! - Mark Thankyou guys :DMar 30, 2002, 1:26pm
Id just like to say a few thankyou's to people who have helped me in some
way or another regarding me learning Visual Basic and programming bots. I havent done thins before but i feel now would be a good time to do so... therefore.. Id like to give some great thanks to.... Baron - The person who taught me almost all i know about VB, without you, id be nowhere about now. Your a star! Mr Grimm - Using your VB SDK has allowed me to learn abuot programming bots, and its the main thing I use now. Thankyou for all the time youve put into making it and all the help files youve made. Its very much apprciated. Kah - Thanks for all the info youve given me as well, be it though e-mail, NG or telegrams. Id still be trying to work out why a basic command wasnt working if it wasnt for your help. Robbie - Another person who has helped me allot, from showing me examples of code for the greeterbot, to assisting me with functions and such. Thankyou :) TheTraveler - You 2 have assisted me with my programming skills and explaining some of the fiddly bits I couldent understand at first without your help. Armygeddon - Thanks for teaching me about using data objects for databases and such :) its come in rearlly usefull. 67 Object Path Keys Compromised - Everything from AW to the Gor worlds, change your OP passwords NOW! The source of the codes has been destroyed - Anyone found using the PW's without the owners permission will have the owner and AWC to answer to! Once again - Change your PW's now - I cannot reviel who is on the list, the safest bet is to completly change every object path. Andras has a tool available - www.andras.net. - Mark WARNING: IMPORTANTMar 31, 2002, 11:57am
WARNING: IMPORTANTMar 31, 2002, 12:57pm
On 30th March, 2002 - I saw though my MSN that the user Dark Mod had placed
a line of text after his username quating a URL and text saying crack this zip to get __ OP passwords. I downloaded the file and asked Mod what it was, he said it was 10 character password that was a common phrase of his. I contacted InSaNiTy when Mod told me WCOL was also included. I set my computers to smart search overnight and in the morning I found that the PW had still not been broken. This morning i was talking to a friend who cracked the ZIP Password and gave it me a few seconds byfore my scan reveieled it to me also. I found inside a set of passwords, which i asked the owner of several of the OP's if the password was correct. It was confirmed the PW I had told the owner was correct. I then posted on all NGs on both Andras's and AWC's server about the problem and informed everyone in various GZ that their OP PW's had been compromised. I do not at this time have any knowledge about how the PW's have been gotten as all i see is *'s, even with CT. --------------------------------------------------------- Now u know how i know, You must realise how important this is and change your object path passwords. I will not disclose the worlds, thats upto AWC to do. But it is a safest everyones OP Passwords are changed. I hope that you make sure you change yours - Mark WARNING: IMPORTANTMar 31, 2002, 1:46pm

WARNING: IMPORTANTMar 31, 2002, 4:34pm
No, it is essential everyone who could possably have OP knows. I have
posted in every NG on both main AW type servers. As you know by now (i hope) the passwords are confirmed as compromised and it is essential that everyones knows so they can change them. So unless u have AWLD #1 rights and can tell everyone by using the universe welcome message. Id apreciate just going with this and just changing the PW on a OP if you own 1. Thankyou :) -Mark Someone called Dotar wrote this: -------------------------------------------------------- And they cannot find out about it from ONE NG? [View Quote] WARNING: IMPORTANTMar 31, 2002, 6:02pm
For evidence.. please see the SDK NG... there is a full explenation... and
he has admitted and bragged about the PW and unforunatly listed them which i hope AWC kills ASAP.. all the proof you need is there... Unfortunatly it di not go to all NG's, just the SDK like my origional did WARNING: IMPORTANTApr 2, 2002, 3:40pm
Sorry about including the list of PW's on my reply BTW. Outlook express
usualy kills the message its replying too if its like that. - Mark WARNING: IMPORTANTApr 2, 2002, 5:13pm
ive asked for the above message to be removed due to em accidently keeping
the details of the message i was replying to. Thanks tom :) - Mark [View Quote] WARNING: IMPORTANTMay 8, 2002, 5:01pm

Okay, in round up. This is what I know....
The passowrds were cracked using a AWST browser that intercepted and decoded them in a way that was visible to the browser. This browser no longer works so if ur Pw's have been chanegd in the last 2 months u should be safe. Mod put this file onto his website and i helped to crack the PW... I alert you all, and recieve a bunch of replies telling me im making Hoaxes and blowing massive theft of property out of proportion.. Well to you who have said that... thanks allot, its rearlly nice to know that when your trying to help you just get insulted. For those of you who have telegramed me or used the NG to say thankyou, id like to say I apreciate it, AW is better when its safer, and ill do what I can to make it that way. I greatly apreciate your support. As for the validity.. I believe by now there is no doubt whatsoever that what I have said is indeed the truth and hope you take it as such. Lets just get the PW's chanegd if they havent been chanegd in the last 2 months and then this horrable mess will hopefully go away. - Mark / Strike encryptionApr 5, 2002, 5:44pm
A nice idea is to get a simple book which explains some of the basic
functions such as the Do and For loops, and If and Then statements Etc.... And then the way i learned was to go straight in and make a program. In my case, my FireStorm Systems bot and use as many of thea features you can find as possable. And use the web and find code etc and use the help of others and that way you can adapt what you learn from looking at others work. Its done me wonders. - Mark [View Quote] AW Facing DirectionApr 26, 2002, 4:38pm
Hello folks,
Im currently making a AW Compass for using in events and such, however I have encountered a problem. For the direction the browser is facing, im currently using various split and string functions from the AW title bar to get a N, NE, E value etc and using it for the program, but its a little unacturate, especially when tracking from about 4 miles. Does anyone know a way to get the exact header please so i can make it allot smoother? Its VB6 :) - Mark AW Facing DirectionApr 26, 2002, 8:25pm
Thats what im already doing baron, using the findwindowlike( ) and dll
functions to find the window and using that, the thing is, im trying to do it without bots. - Mark [View Quote] <no subject>Apr 27, 2002, 8:04am
Sorry about no subject on that last 1, i accidently clicked the wrong button
