I saw that too...I wonder if thats the cam they use for the COF office in

Surfing around I came upon a OpenGL 3D browser that looks like it is going
to be set up like AW..it allows you to have your own "world"but entirely on
a website(no servers!!)looks interesting but performed a little slow on my
machine,this may be the best competition I have seen yet for AW.I still like
AW better than all that was before..but....OpenGL?...we'll see.

I have tried it 3 times now and it is getting faster each time,I returned my
resolution to 800x600 from 1024 and d/l'ed the newest drivers for my
Voodoo3,all of which makes a BIG difference.
I have always been curious about OpenGL,but there was not alot out there to
goof around with.
dennis13,sorry didn't mean to rattle any bones,I just thought it was
interesting since AW has had no "real" competition.

Tried all day yesterday,got in once but couldn't send grams and got stuck in
a teleport into Alpha...tried twice today...no luck yet....can't even run my
world....grrrrrrr

Not sure if this helps but aren't most cd's set up to run automatically by
an autorun.inf file? maybe you can make your own...they are after all text
files...

MERRY CHRISTMAS :P (i give up on Winter Solistice or anything politically
correct anymore. Christmas is the big reliegious holiday in Christianity,
that and Easter. Hannukah ISN'T that big of a deal, relatively, for Jews,
and Kwanzaa is just darn made up, literally so I'll give the Christians some
of my non-religious love and respect for the holidays and save the ones for

"Us" people do have our own newsgroup,refering to USWF I mean.
Since USWF is a community of "Active World" worlds and cities I do believe
it can be appropriate to post things in here...although I hate spam and
commercials as much as anyone. :-)

Ok this will be my first original thread,and to some it might sound stupid.
Is there an "end" to worlds?or do you get to a point where you are
constantly walking and seeing the same thing?Do you run into a wall?I never
had the patience to either teleport and walk or just walk.Thanks in advance
for any serious replies :-)
Now i'll go back to my padded cell.

eep,
I had the same problem with my eMachine P.O.S...used all the documentation
for the motherboard and it still wants to install the on-board graphics
card.I purchased a Voodoo3 2000 and that works fine,but everytime I re-boot
it still tries to install the old Rage IIc,I just hit cancel everytime.
rocknrollwoman,Maybe you can try a setup like that?
