ctc one // User SearchQuerying to Change Objects - With VB WrapperSep 22, 2000, 1:19pm
Has anyone done any coding to changes objects from a bot using Grimm's VB
Wrapper? Here's what I need to do. Change the action on an object. The object has even been named to make this easier. What are the steps that I have to run through to get the bot to find, and change that aspect of an object. Yes the bot is right next to the sign so he can see it. Thanks, _Faded Bots DisappearingOct 2, 2000, 11:09am
I've been using Grimm's VB Wrapper to build bots for my world.
Every so often the bot will disappear from the world. The Program will still be running, but the bot will no longer be in the world. Has anyone seen anything like this, or know what's happeneing, or what I should be looking for / doing in my program? ctc one Bots DisappearingOct 3, 2000, 11:48am
Ok I've got that in my program. I'll just have to check to make sure it's
called enought. Thanks. [View Quote] Getting Bots NameOct 27, 2000, 1:14pm
What do I call within the SDK to query the name of the bot.
The reason I want to do this is to compare the bot name to the chat string. For conversation purposes. I'm currently using Grimm's VB Wrapper to code the bot. Thanks. Bots DisappearingOct 2, 2000, 11:09am

What do I call in the sdk to get the name of the bot, once the bot has been
started. I need this for a chat call so that I can compare what the user has said to the bot's name. I also don't want to use the field that name is typed in to start the bot. I'm also using Grimm's VB Wrapper to code my bot. Thanks. Dimension of AWMar 21, 2001, 1:56pm
Does anyone know how the dimensions in AW relate to those in Real Life?
(ex. 1 unit in AW = 10 inches in real life) Thanks, -CTC One |
