|
2. Be able to work with your own objects while under a ppw, it's a major
pain to swamp back and forth.
3. Be able to log into multiple ppw. Of course this would require some
work
on the objects property window, and I looks like AW is never gonna
tinker
with that...
4. Be able to eject someone from your ppw. For example if you give
someone
your ppw, and they start trashing your place, you should be able to kick
them off your ppw. This is a major security issue AW should fix.
5. Have a drop down menu of ppws you know. For example, I know a lot of
ppw, too many to remember. I'd be nice to have a drop down menu in the
ppw
login window.
6. Be able to monitor who is logged into your ppw now.
All these features, I think, would be awesome for major cities or
organization (like comreg) who deal with ppw a lot.

Ameriworlds (it's there as UltraWorlds with an S behind) used to be on
www.ultra-worlds.com, default port - but I could not connect it anymore,
for a longer period of time.

UltraWorld (the one without S) was on an AW port and seems to be gone
too.
If you know the hosts/ports where they are now, please tell me and I
will correct the entries.
There are galaxies missing, because they told me the galaxies were only
for a certain group of people, but not protected, and it would be better
not to have them in the list.

Eep, this is posted especially for you :-)

in your reply. The referred-to message isn't always available on news
servers (most have short expiration dates, although AW's don't seem to
expire, but AWCI is flaky in its archiving, as is evidenced by the now
defunct "discussion" and "awcommunity" newsgroups. At any rate, it's
annoying having to click on the message you're replying to just to see what
the hell it is you're referring to.

message's size by 5 times which is just ridiculous for his worthless replies
anyway. I'm almost to the point of filtering for that fact of his
incompetence alone...

> This is one of the reasons I rip on clueless newbies so much. If they
can't take the time to learn about offsets between download time and
display, and learn how to use their programs (like enabling wordwrap, for
example), they shouldn't be using the Net, software, or computers in the
first place. This is one of the problems I have with Microsoft dumbing down
Windows so clueless idiots can attempt to use it (My this and My that, and
now their lame misspelling of WinME as WinMe--lame-ass bullshit). I will
continue to rip on people until they learn how to properly and effectively
use their computers and not annoy the shit out of me and other people in the
process. And don't even THINK of mentioning my line length because it's
EASILY fixed by simple enabling wordwrap, which any computer user should
know how to do anyway--PERIOD.
