Actually, it should be AWI, since AWLD.OB is the stock of the *other* AW
company. [View Quote] -- Goober King Where are they now? gooberking at utn.cjb.net Citnum #1Dec 7, 2002, 4:01pm
Umm, not quite. AW, Inc. is a privately owned company (privately owned
by Rick and JP, of course) and so has no stock whatsoever. The "AW" stock belongs to Allied Waste, a waste disposal company. While some may think AW Inc and Allied Waste peddle the same product, I don't think there's been any talk of a merger. :P [View Quote] -- Goober King A marriage made in... a trash receptacle? gooberking at utn.cjb.net Check this outDec 10, 2002, 10:59am

*blink* Bowen, are you actually getting pissed off over a discussion
about viruses?! Have you been dipping into BinaryBud's stash or something? How about you go outside, take a deep breath, go for a walk, and maybe meet some new people while you're at it. It'll do your body, and the viruses inside 'em, some good. Thank you for completely missing my point. I guess I need to get a
little lower with the message here... How about this: CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!!!! Dude, nobody but you cares, ok? Either find something a bit more worthwhile to complain about or just shut your cakehole! Ok, here's using a brain for you:
In this entire virus argument, you have posted... *counts*... three posts pertaining to the argument. Meanwhile, Agent1 has posted... *counts*... One. Now, remind me again... what makes you think he cares? As for him being a jackass, so what? You make it sound like he's out to get you or something, when he does that to *everybody*. If you had actually read my NG2tNGs, you would know that. :P [View Quote] -- Goober King Pestering Bowen because he cares... gooberking at utn.cjb.net How a blonde prints e-mail...Dec 17, 2002, 11:09am
Translation: "Someone from gynecology called. They say the pap smear is
normal." gynecology - n. The branch of medicine dealing with health care for women, especially the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the female reproductive organs. pap smear - n. A test for cancer, especially of the female genital tract, in which a smear of exfoliated cells is specially stained and examined under a microscope for pathological changes. Of course, now the joke isn't funny anymore. :P [View Quote] -- Goober King Loves Pabst Beer... gooberking at utn.cjb.net Another game ideaDec 17, 2002, 11:19am
Hardly. It's an anime about a card game; not exactly something you can
build an entire series around, but they try anyway. It's just another merchandise-based anime that was brought over to the states to make money. Probably the only people above 12 yrs old who might be interested in the show are the D&D nuts. :P [View Quote] -- Goober King "Quick! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of reading half of the book just
before I saw the movie, so it kinda ruined the experience for me since I kept thinking to myself "That didn't happen in the book..." I'll have to go back and see it a couple more times to wash the memory of the book away so I can properly enjoy it. :) Note to those who know the book: They changed it quite a bit in the movie, so if you're overly concerned with them staying *absolutely* true to the source material, you'll probably hate the movie... From what I heard, the cartoon version of LotR was just plain awful,
both in adaptation and in animation, which is why I've avoided it like the plague. The Hobbit, however, is a classic. :) Note: The guy who voiced Gollum in the Hobbit (not sure if he did LotR cartoon too) is the same guy who voices Gollum in the movies.
