*sigh* This is why I didn't want to make a big deal out of all this,
because I know we don't have a case. It's Cybor's fault for not renewing
the domain, and it's my fault for not watching the domain name closely
enough. That's all there is to it. All I can hope for is that ol'
Mikey'll drop the domain when he realizes that there are no other buyers
for it. The more you people fight over this, the more he'll believe the
domain is worth $10,000.

AWLD is far from gone. Though it *used* to trade on NASDAQ, it now
trades on the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board system, which consists
mainly of penny stocks. My guess is that the ".OP" is just to signify
that it is now an OTC stock, since you can still look up "AWLD" and get
the most recent stock price.

Maybe you folks over in Libya don't have this concept, but here in the
States we have this nutty thing called "Free Speech". Besides allowing
us to bitch about our government without having to worry about them
going Taliban on our asses, it also affords us the ability to say
whatever's on our mind without fear of oppression from others who
disagree with us. As far as this discussion goes, this means I'm free to
call whatever I want "stupid", just as you have the right to accuse me
of having no sense of "humer". :P
As for making people feel bad, why should they care what I think? Is my
opinion really worth so much that I would make them feel bad for liking
something that I find stupid? While I appreciate the ego-stroke, I doubt
that's the case.

Your point? As many before me have said, if you don't like what I have
to say, filter me; it's that simple. Why more people don't make use of
this feature is beyond me. I know my excuse is that I'm just nutty
enough to like reading everyone's posts, even the stupid ones.
As for comparing myself to Eep, I sense quite a few people in here going
through Eep withdrawal as of late. Guess some people really *can't* live
without him. :P While I'm aware that Eep and myself have quite a few
similarities, those similarities end in how we handle debates. Whereas I
try to concentrate on the topic at hand, Eep goes beyond that and
attacks the person he's debating with. When that happens, it stops being
a debate and turns into the flame wars this place has been made famous for.

I don't know which country's laws your sister is versed in, but in the

remarks. Most people who subscribe to the "politically correct"
philosophy kindly request that you not make such remarks, but I don't
think any lobbyists have managed to legislate PC-ness just yet. If that
was the case, they would've come to Libya and carted your ass off to

robrod at prism.net

As "incompetent" as you think AWI might be, methinks the problem is on
your end, not theirs. It's not that the beta team doesn't *want* to
understand; they understand perfectly. The problem comes when you lose
your patience and suggest things by insulting them. Perhaps if you had
asked with a more polite tone, as some of the other beta testers did,
you would still be on the beta team. Their politeness is what got the
Apply button into the most recent version of 3.4, not your outburst.
Think about it next time. You'll notice a lot of Eep's suggestions only
got implemented *after* someone else agreed with him and asked for it in
a more polite tone...
