tom neaves // User SearchSDK hanging?Feb 13, 1999, 11:56pm
Hi there, I've just encountered this problem. I make my bots in Visual
C/C++ 6. I compile them, make them an exe, all works fine. I go to run them, all it does it, run them but nothing happens. It just "hangs" and does nothing. I send the same program (bot) I made to some one else, they run it and it goes fine. Why is this? I have all the rights dlls, like aw.dll in c:\windows. Its weird. It was okay last week. Anyone have any ideas why? Thanks in advance. - Tom Neaves SDK hanging?Feb 14, 1999, 12:06am
After reading Roland's post about Build 13 being released, I was curious
that that might be the cause of my problem. I upgraded the dlls, the libs, the .h. Recompiled. Still same thing happens. :-( Any ideas? - Tom Neaves [View Quote] SDK hanging?Feb 14, 1999, 12:07am
Sorry about all these posts. I left the program running while I was typing
this, I go back down looking at it (ready to close it for doing nothing and it comes to life). Thanks anyway ;-) - Tom Neaves [View Quote] Moving bot randomly...Feb 20, 1999, 7:49pm
I want the bot to move randomly. I've looked all over the SDK website, no
luck. Any chance anyone could help me out here? Give me some code to get the bot to move randomly or move at all. Thanks alot. 2.1 World Beta prob... nothing to do with SDK... just thoughts some programmers might know why...Feb 28, 1999, 3:13am
Hi there, not quite sure where this message belongs.
I compiled AW 2.1... it is now 4:50am here in dark England. I go to run it and it said it can't run... it can not see / resolve world universe or something. Could some one help me out here? Live? You mean these .lib and .h files are alive? Ack.

How about a sound on, sound off "tag" on objects. I know we have whisper,
which sorta is it. But it would be good to step into your office, some one follows you in, you put sound on on the door, (already on the walls). And no one else can hear you outside? - c0redump |
