in-AW object creation/editing?

I RESENT THAT!!!

[View Quote] > Woaaaaaaah, there, pardner. I just want a way to create objects in AW. I don't want some idiotic bot doing it (just one look at the stupid censor-eject bot tells me bot programmers don't know how to design correctly, which usually tends to be the case with most programmers in general).

SDK with MSC 5.00

Mar 20, 1999, 1:53am
Hi! I downloaded the SDK and installed it. The
compiler that I have is very old, but it works and
this is supposed to work with *any* C compiler.
When I wrote a program (I somply copied and pasted
one of the examples), and compiled it, I made sure
that the command line read:

CL DJBOT.C AW.LIB

All worked fine, until the Linker said that the
LIB file was invalid. Does the SDK nowt work with
old MSC 5.00?

-JWT

P.S.: I know that C is a high-level language, but
some of them are good 2 have around in an
emergency. (Although, like C 5 is gonna help me
LOL) If this is confusing, see below.

As was said in an earlier message,

PLEASE??

I love Java. I know Java. I have a Java
compiler. Java is the language of the Web. Java
could be the language of the Bots. I dont have a
C compiler (at least not 1 that will work with the
AW sdk...). Java Rules. Java is a high level
language that life is not too short to use.

Need I say more?

All AOL is is chat rooms anyway, and the Instant Messages. If there are any AOL
users that stick to AOL for only this reason please E-Mail me and I will list
lots of chat rooms on the internet and you can download the instant messanger,
I have it, my IM handle is Viper3695. Really, that is all that AOL is about.
Now, they may cancel the Instant Messanger some day (for regular internet
users), but then there still is ICQ and some other things, and maybe I will make
an instant-message thing for AW users (I have a VC++ compiler and i gotta use it
for SOMETHING...). OK I went too much into detail. sorry its late and my mind
is rambling and so are my fingers. I think I will go write a bot or somehting
now goodnight.

AW 3.0 progress... Where are ya Roland?

Jan 10, 2000, 1:33am
Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knew what Roland
was up to. Is he on vacation or something? It is
just that
http://objects.activeworlds.com/misc/aw30 hasn't
been updated in quite some time and I want to know
what is going on. Also Roland if you see this
message, what is the ETA on AW 3?

Use your FN key and press: (on my laptop it is like this)

FN+P = fly down
FN+(semicolon) = fly up

Gravity and Laptops

Jan 30, 2000, 3:58pm
Well if the laptop had a FN key, look at the keys on the right side of the
keyboard, and some of them should have blue numbers on them. That is your
number-pad. Look around it for blue + and blue -.

Hey... I hate I missed it, but anyway...

I was just wondering who won. AWCommunity has not
updated "Past Recipients" yet.

Thanks
