how are the CY awards more important than any other event(s)? surely you
wouldn't want to disrupt activeworld's sensitive side which yields to the
concerns expressed by their users?

mipmaps are definitely nicer, without them things with them look way too
crisp.

but, there were problems before in 2.2 and 3.1 for a few people, (i have not
seen the objects since) with the texturing of some objects while mipmaps
were enabled.
