It's almost done, and IS on the air!
I have now about 97% or very close to it, an automated radio station that
works WELL with the AW browser, using one of about 6 different kinds of
low-ram players and mp3 formats. You should have a LEAST 56k or better to
run streaming audio.
I also have 2 positions in staffing open. See the website for details.
Any new worlds, events, suggesstions, etc...please view the website at

The music is played by USER requests, not a DJ. To make a request, you will
simply click a "vote" link. That is how I keep up with a database tally of
what songs aren't being played and which are popular.

Hello:

My screen name is Danny 2K, and I am an Internet DJ, playing music, comedy
spoofs, and making announcements for the virtual community. My AW Citizen
number is 299428.

I have been broadcasting mostly from Broadway World for JustN and OneSummer,
and would like to offer free plugs, announcements, or online song requests
to users who have a good dial up of 56 kbps for streaming audio or better.
Cable modems provide great stereo reception.

All broadcasts are in stereo, and the hours are from 11:00PM VRT until 02:00
am VRT.

I use the Professional Studio Shoutcast stream, and have found that Winamp
is what most of my users like best, all though most mp3 players will work.

I am on a cable network, and have plenty of bandwidth to push, you won't get
a lot of skipping or buffering like smaller stations.

From there you can send an online request also by using the ICQ panel!

To dial directly in with Winamp. simply hit Control + the L key, and enter
the numbers 24.93.76.127:8000

Any public announcements, people seeking help, AW announcements, birthdays,

the ICQ panel on my webpage.
