create color, texture

I would love to be able to use create color and create texture on the same
object! Imagine the combinations you could have.
Unless of course someone out there already knows how to do codes to allow
this to happen.

((((Harvest))) Thinking of you. Please accept my sympathies for your loss. I
will light a candle for you and for your family. Please pass my sympathies
onto your mother and onto Alice's family.

Matters of good Grammer

One of the things that attracted me to Activeworlds was its diverse culture.
I finally got to meet and talk with people from all around the world. For
someone who doesn't travel it was very exciting and still is! I never
thought of AW as being "american", I thought of it as a worldwide community.

I have been with AW since 1998 and have met some wonderful people (and some
not so wonderful). I came into AW without any prior misconceptions of any
person from any country or about any country only to find a lot of people
did have, and still do, some misconceptions about my country, Australia. The
difference is these people ask questions that I am only too happy to answer
(although if I have to say Crikey! one more time I think I will scream!! The
Croc Hunter is a boofhead, always has been, always will be!). I have also
asked questions about the country that people are from and it is amazing
what you find out.

One of the first things I found out is that most people are proud of the
country they live in and are only too happy to talk about their country and
give their opinion. If that translates into arrogance for some then it is
the problem of the person who does the translating. We should not stand in
judgement of those that are different to us.

I would like to ask a question of the americans. What is it that makes an
american american?

Matters of good Grammer

What took me a long time to get used to was create color

Tintacks (but no criticism implied): the correct Queen's English spelling is
colour, same as behaviour and favourite as opposed to behavior and favorite.
Also criticise, not criticize. Organisation, not organization. That's how
you can tell an American! Spelling. *grins* Oh we also say Z as Zed not Zee,
but with Sesame Street we hear a lot more kids saying Zee nowadays than Zed.
The wonders of little green frogs and the bossy pigs that love them!

Code I was also told NEVER to call a Canadian an American! That would be
the same as me calling a New South Welshman a banana-bender or cane toad!

I find it fascinating that the same word, phrase or action can have
different meanings depends on where you are from. Did you also know, in some
countries, crossing your fingers as a sign of good luck "fingers crossed" is
a very insulting gesture?

Totally agree Code!! But isn't it fascinating!! Internet language has been
born and we have been a part of that!

Psst! Alex . I am Australian not English, but we won't get into aussie
slang!

Right Click Bug in 3.5

Does the same for me, jumps all over the place and even if I am using
another program and have an object selected in AW in the background it jumps
around.

AW Rating

Personally I think if you want to work towards this you should work to keep
the cits you have here. There are a lot of things wrong in AW and people are
leaving daily, and not just because of the price or the updates. Two of my
friends left today for example. Last week there were two more and the week
before that there was 5. You do the math.
